Full Beauty Specialist Training in Florida
FULL SPECIALIST (600 Hours) (Offered only at West and Cutler Bay campuses) (17 weeks / full time) (30 weeks / part time) or (37 weeks / part time) Instructional Methods:

This course is taught in theory and practical methods. Instructors at our Beauty School in Miami, Florida will use blackboards, audio/visual aids, and demonstration materials.

Objective:

This course is designed to teach students the art and science of beautifying the hands and feet, and Aesthetics and Skin care, including the use of safety precautions and sanitation methods. The student will become skilled at using professional manicuring implements, chemicals, suppliers, nail drills with the use of light cured gets, and the maintenance and health of the skin by correct cleansing methods and massage. The theory classes include the study of the structures of the skin, the function to recognize lesions and diseases of the glands. Techniques will be learned for treatment of problem skin conditions such as oiliness, dryness, comedones, acne, discoloration, and scarring. Techniques will be learned in identifying nail diseases, basic type of artificial and sculptured nails, and nail extensions. At the completion of the Program, the graduate will qualify for certification from the school and upon receiving license from the state, employment as a Professional. Throughout the program as applicable to each individual unit, students will also receive information about compensation packages and payroll deductions and career information such as professional ethics, effective communication, and human relations.

Program Description:

Techniques will be learned in identifying nail diseases, basic type of artificial and sculptured nails, and nail exten­sions, as well as Skin Care. At the completion of the Program, the graduate will be issued a diploma that will afford students the opportunity to sit for state exam. This program is offered in Spanish. Please note that graduates under the age of 18 may have certain regulations that reduce their ability to become employed.

Grading Procedure:

Instructors will use Tests, Quizzes, and Practical Exams throughout the program in order to evaluate the student’s progress.

Graduation Requirements:

Students must complete all listed hours and services, in addition to attendance requirements and financial obligation to be considered a graduate and awarded a Diploma.

Possible Occupations: Graduates of this course can expect these possible occupations upon licensure: Facial specialist, Manicurist, Nail Art Specialist, Waxing artist, Makeup artist, Skin consultant, and others.
